«Take the moon», Gazzetta di Reggio

Reggio Emilia Paolo Crepet stops on Tuesday 14 May (9pm) at the Valli theater with his conference-show “Take the moon” which is selling out everywhere and, naturally, also in Reggio Emilia. A conference-event (taken from his highly successful book of the same name published by Mondadori) in which the famous psychiatrist, sociologist, educator and essayist addresses topics dear especially to the younger generations.

«I meet a lot of people – says Paolo Crepet – and I wonder what they could want from me. Certainly a guide, a hope, perhaps even a light that lights the hearts of young and old. There is thirst and hunger for words, for thoughts. They seek heresy in a codified world. I can only tell them what I have told myself for years throughout my life: “get the moon”. Be ambitious, seek your uniqueness. You have to keep your head high and keep dreaming. The danger lies in the calm of emotions, in resignation, it lies in those who sow sloth and confusion as if it were the rule of the most up-to-date marketing of existence. Opposing all this is my desire, my mission, the reason why I continue to wander in the squares and theaters. I am looking for freedom, passion, courage. The rest – concludes Paolo Crepet – is boredom.”

Paolo Crepet will return to the Reggio Emilia area, but with another conference-show, on July 8th: we will be able to listen to him at the Tenuta Venturini e Baldini in Roncolo, guest of the “Words at sunset” event which also includes the presence of Umberto Galimberti on June 14th and on August 2 Stefano Rossi.
