The program of the third edition of the “Acerbi al Parco” exhibition continues, shows and performances in parks and gardens of the city of Asti
The event is organized by the Teatro degli Acerbi with the City of Asti, with the partnership of Spazio KOR and with the major supporter the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and is part of the PATRIC network.
The new billboard is placed in the heart of the Asti spring and Sunday 19 May in Rio Crosio Park there will be “Hansel and Gretel” of Campsirago Residenza, directed by Michele Losi.
Two performances are scheduled, at 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm. It is for children from 4 years old, with the possibility of being accompanied by parents.
The idea is to bring moments or days of shows and performances to the city’s parks and gardens, located in various areas, to attract an audience that already lives or frequents them. Families of parents or grandparents with their children, but also the neighborhood or local public.
A traveling and experiential show that unfolds in an immersive theater journey in the Rio Crosio Park through soundscapes, voices, theatrical actions, images.
A rewriting and an original staging of the fairy tale which becomes an experience that the child-spectators have firsthand, delving, together with Hansel and Gretel, into the darkness of the forest, but also into the heart of their own emotions and fears.
The show is built on a double level: three actors act and tell the fairy tale, accompanying the children in the woods, up to the gingerbread house, which in turn will become a journey in stages between objects, images and revelations.
The show predicts the use of headphoneswhich perform the function of attuning children/spectators to the flow of thoughts of Hansel and Gretel, receiving suggestions and indications regarding the stage story.
The dramaturgy is by Sofia Bolognini And Sebastiano Sicurezza, the latter on stage with Barbara Mattavelli and Stefano Pirovano. The sounds are by Luca Maria Baldini and Diego Dioguardi, the costumes by Stefania Coretti. The meeting point for the public is at the entrance on Corso Rio Crosio.
