The young children of Galileo opened the “Who’s on stage” festival

The School Theater Festival this year opens exceptionally with the youngest children, a primary 4th of the IC Galileo Galilei. We wanted their show to be staged in the event for the value of their theatrical representation, which is the result of an important educational project- declared the deputy mayor and councilor for public education Valentina Pulvirenti. It is no coincidence that this Festival was preceded by a theater teaching seminar for teachers, organized by the Municipality. Precisely because we believe that theater is not an extracurricular activity, but a fundamental training activity for the development, growth and socialization of children and young people.

I thank the very talented students, who gave life to a wonderful show. I thank their parents, teachers and school director Josephine Scavo for their dedication and attention to detail. Thanks to the commitment of Carmela Borzì and the Right to Study Service, to the CSVE and to those who collaborated to make the first day a success”.

The CSVE and the Jury made up of volunteer professionals contribute to the creation of the “Chi è di scene” Festival. That is Nino Leotta, author, director, theater scholar; Giusy Patanè, teacher expert in theater teaching; Cettina Stefano, art teacher, theater enthusiast; Cristina Torrisi journalist and author; Alfio Vecchio, amateur director.
