Oral Cancer Day in Reggio Calabria

On Saturday 11 May in the squares of the main Italian cities there will be “Oral Cancer Day” gazebos, a day dedicated to the prevention of oral diseases organized by the Andi Foundation, Foundation of the National Association of Italian Dentists. In Reggio Calabria in Piazza Camagna it will be possible to fill out a knowledge test and book a free cancer prevention visit from a volunteer dentist until 14 June.

The presence of dentists Dr. Natale Orlando president Calabria ANDI, dr. Massimo D’Agostino, Dr. Daniela Laganà and Dr. Valeria Polimeni, support the people who approach their position on Corso Garibaldi, explaining the importance of prevention to increase the number of early diagnoses and reduce mortality within 5 years. Italian dentists dedicate an entire day to raising awareness and informing citizens by teaching simple practices – such as self-examination of the mouth – and disseminating useful advice for adopting a healthy lifestyle, which can help prevent oral cancer. Until 8pm, it will be possible to visit the ORAL CANCER DAY info point in Piazza Camagna and book a free preventive dental visit until 14 June.
