In the heart of Marcianise, precisely in the Campania shopping center, an event occurred that sowed panic and terror among those present. A little while ago, a part of the false ceiling collapsed near the La Scimmietta ice cream shop, triggering moments of fear and stampedes.
The spectators, especially the young people who were spending the evening in the shopping center for the Saturday night outing, reacted promptly by contacting their family members and notifying the competent authorities. The scenes described by eyewitnesses were described as “surreal”, with screams and disorientation rife in the air.
The timely intervention of the firefighters and 118 healthcare personnel made it possible to manage the situation quickly and efficiently, guaranteeing assistance to the people involved in the accident.
At the moment, the causes of the collapse have not yet been officially declared, but the competent authorities are conducting the necessary investigations to identify any responsibilities and guarantee the safety of the shopping center and its patrons.
