EXCLUSIVE ARCTIC wants to entrust Cesena to Longo. Although…

We are (already) working towards the post-Tuscan era. And today welcomed a new contact between the Juventus director and the former Como trainer. Longo’s name? Doesn’t warm up the fans…

Mouths sewn and no official statement in Casa Cesena. As per the script. In the meantime, however, under the ashes of an apparent tranquility, the indefatigable Fabio Arctic is hunting for Domenico Toscano’s replacement. On this front, today, welcomed a new telephone contact between the director of Cavalluccio and Moreno Longo. As we have already told you in suspicious times, in fact, the former trainer (also) of Frosinone and Turin is the number one candidate to lead Cesena in the next cadet tournament. Cadet tournament that Longo also ‘haunted’ in the current season, before being sacked by Como in November (who just yesterday rose to Serie A). Born in 1976, from Turin, Longo – let’s say it: his name, at the moment, has not warmed up the Juventus people… – in his curriculum vitae as coach he also boasts a promotion to Serie A with Frosinone (2017/2018) and a promotion to Serie B harpooned in tandem with a ‘certain’ Arctic in Alessandria (2020/2021). Still in Alessandria, and always under the protective wing of ARCTIC, Longo, however, in 2021/2022 also faced a unfortunate direct relegation to the third series. The duo, however, could reunite soon in Terra di Romagna. We are working on a two-year contract (a two-year contract which, as is known, was not granted to Toscano). Even if, at the moment, in ARCTIC – ouch! – the exact amount of the budget that Cesena will have available for the next summer strengthening campaign has not yet been communicated by the Americans (at least 6-7 category reinforcements are needed). Very fluid situation. With Longo (who said no to Modena a handful of weeks ago, paving the way for Pierpaolo Bisoli) in pole position. But with two other coaches (one of these is the former Salernitana player Fabio Liverani) absolutely not cut off from the game. Meanwhile, Catania, Padua and Vicenza are always pressing hard on Toscano.
