SIENA. Francesco Cottini has been appointed governor of District 108 LA of Tuscany, a great satisfaction for the Lions Club of Siena, which has the possibility of expressing the governor at the helm of the 90 Clubs of Tuscany and with almost three thousand registered members.
Francesco Cottini is the third Governor appointed by the Siena Lions Club after the first was his father Lao Cottini, who held this position in 1970. The second Sienese governor of Tuscany was Vinicio Serino, who held this position in the 2009 Lions club year /2010. A very important role was also played by the Sienese Massimo Fabio, who was also elected president of the council of Italian governors and who held the prestigious position of international director and was a member of the Club of Florence.
Francesco Cottini was thus able to be nominated in the 43rd congress of Grosseto in Principina a Terra and from next July 1, 2024 he will therefore be the third governor expressed by the Lions Club of Siena.
