The 32 candidates of the Silli con Prato List were officially presented, in support of Gianni Cenni, the centre-right mayoral candidate. Simone Spezzano is at the top of the list, followed by the two outgoing city councilors Eva Betti and Mirko Lafranceschina and then the others in alphabetical order. Among them are well-known names, such as Enrico Albini; Stefano Scali, former municipal councilor, Giulio Mencattini and Giovanna Cobuzzi in the UDC share; Alberto Nincheri, former president of the Circolo Arci di Viaccia. But also people with their first political experience, and then the very young Luna Moggi, who will soon turn 18. “There are many candidates, several surprises – explained the undersecretary Giorgio Silli -. We have the youngest candidate in Italy, we have a pregnant candidate. There are so many wonderful things that I hope will produce consensus not so much for me, for the list or for whoever makes the list, but for the city. We don’t work for ourselves, but to bring consensus to Gianni Cenni’s candidacy.”
As specified by Silli, “I believe that teamwork wins and for this very reason, with the mayoral candidate Cenni we have decided to harmonize the programs of the individual lists and to create a single program which will be presented on 15 May. Obviously what matters most for us is work.”
