Thirty-four candidates in Cagliari, half of them women, and thirteen in Pirri. Among the names on Giuseppe Farris’ Cagliari Civica lists, entrepreneurs, young people, former prefects and former third guardians of Sant’Efisio plus freelancers stand out: “We also have a 23-year-old student, probably the youngest candidate”, begins Farris, during the presentation official of the candidates in the open-air auditorium of Marina Piccola. “We are the novelty and the alternative, the other candidates are in perfect continuity with Zedda and Truzzu”. One of the many tests? The fact that the FdI list that supports Alessandra Zedda is full “of names of people who supported the Truzzu Council. We have been promoting referendums for over five months and, today, there are those who copy our ideas”, and it is clear in reference to the centre-right rival.
Farris is always sure: “We will go to the ballot, the people of Cagliari have already understood that we are the only real innovation with clear and concrete ideas.” Among the priorities: the elimination of cycle paths from the central streets of Cagliari, the arrival of modern bins to be able to dispose of waste every day and a referendum to make Pirri an autonomous municipality.
