The undersigned trade union organization FIALS Foggia, hereby follows the regional SEPAC meeting of 04/23/2024, during which it was decided to promote a discussion between the Health Promotion Department and the Foggia ASLs to verify the the relevance of the decisions adopted at the time regarding the better organization of the service at the RR.SS.AA of Troia and San Nicandro Garganico.
This comparison was also reiterated at the hearing of the representatives of the company SGAS srl, in its capacity as manager in extension of the two structures, which took place on 23 April 2024. The company SGAS srl awaits an urgent call.
FIALS Foggia believes that the discussion is more necessary and urgent than ever in order to: • Guarantee continuity of service: The current situation of uncertainty risks compromising the quality of healthcare provided to the citizens of Troia and San Nicandro Garganico. • Protect workers’ rights: The employees of SGAS srl are worried about their working future, due to the activation of staff reduction procedures pursuant to articles. 4 and 24 of Law 223/1991 for cessation of activity. • Avoid non-payment of salaries: As has already happened in previous months, there is a risk that employees will not receive their salaries on time. This situation would cause serious hardship to their families. In light of the above, FIALS Foggia asks to urgently convene a meeting with: • the President of the Puglia Region, Emiliano; • the Director of the Health Promotion Department of the Puglia Region; • the Director of the Foggia ASL; • the representatives of the company SGAS Srl The meeting must be held closely to avoid the occurrence of further critical issues. FIALS-Foggia does not rule out a mobilization of personnel or a sit-in under the Puglia Region.
