«Sanremo is more tiring and “Eurovision” is more surprising. While the Festival is part of our DNA as Italians and therefore I knew it, this event was not. These days in Malmö have been a complete discovery, finding myself catapulted into an experience far from the life I have lived so far.”
Tough to line up the two festivals in just a few months.
“No. Eurovision is a beautiful experience that I thank the Italian public for giving me the honor of experiencing. To make sure I don’t miss anything, I’m following it with the launch of the album, “Poké melodrama”, out on May 31st, and with a tour of European festivals with an autumn tail end in clubs, both Italian and foreign.”
What do the foreign journalists who interview you ask you?
«First of all, the contents of ‘Boredom’. But also to my story, which obviously they know little about. I like telling myself from scratch every time, because it makes me relive moments and details of my career that have now ended up in the parking lot of memories.”
