Violence, free, near the Rimini station, just outside the Artrov restaurant. In the early evening of Friday a group of five boys brutally beat up a cyclist. The reasons for the beating are not clear, but from an initial reconstruction of the facts it seems that the cyclist rang the bike bell to warn the group of boys who were also occupying the cycle path of his arrival. A harmless and frequent gesture on cycle paths mixed with pedestrians. In this case it triggered the violence of the group of young people who punched and kicked the cyclist. He fell off his bicycle and suffered a head injury as well as other bruises from the beating.
Only the arrival of the manager and the staff of the Artrov restaurant prevented the worst for the cyclist. In fact, at the first screams they rushed out of the restaurant and chased away the 5 criminals who were however filmed by the video surveillance cameras present in the restaurant.
The 118 vehicles and the police intervened on site.
The continuous presence of the police forces in the area is increasingly necessary. There are too many episodes of violence recorded in the area.
