CORIGLIANO-ROSSANO – Today, Thursday 9 May, in the bar room of the “E Majorana” Institute, the first fundamental agreement between two large entities in the city of Corigliano-Rossano was presented to the territory: the Professional Hotel Institute (Ipseoa) and Acquapark Odissea 2000, one of the most important companies on the Italian scene. An important step that focuses on young people, their future and their desire to get involved and make themselves known as professionals in the sector.
The event was also an opportunity to present the restyling of the refreshment, self-service and pizzeria area of Odissea 2000. «It’s a joy – comments the Director Milena Marino – to be able to present it here, because after 30 years we have finally entered into a partnership with the Rossano hotel school, which will allow us to train professionals who were not previously present in this area”.
The agreement will involve all the addresses of the Hotel Institute, lounge, bar, tourist reception and kitchen, allowing the students involved to have greater awareness and a 360 degree vision of what the world of catering and the world of hotel industry, a world that requires professionalism and skills. «I am very satisfied – declares Head teacher Saverio Madera – of this initiative and I am sure that our children will grow from an educational and training point of view. Today, we will also present the new Food line, precisely to highlight the importance of the educational alliance between the school and the territory, which leads to the training of young people who are prepared and ready to face their future”.
The “brigade” made up of male and female students of the cooking branch, under the careful guidance of cooking teacher Peter Bloisethey created, to seal this moment, a creative recipe, with identifying products that enhance local excellence, using exclusively 0 km ingredients, and which will be offered, during the summer season, on the Acquapark menu.
