«The “Schools beyond regions and borders” project is in its fourth edition – explains the project coordinator, Professor Giuseppe Zorzi – together with my colleague, a professor Daniela Ferrariover the next three years we want to improve the quality of the site on which to upload in multiple languages the material of the various thematic cycles carried out so far (from the history of the European Union to the challenges of Agenda 2030, from the question of autonomy and federalism in Europe to the moments most significant in the history of the continent after the fall of the Berlin Wall), but also involve representatives of schools and universities from all the countries of the European Union, without ceasing to strengthen the axis constituted by schools from the Euregio.»

«This Region will always find its fundamental characteristic in the ability to connect ideas, proposals and common interests starting from the young generations – explained the President Arno Kompatscher –our particular autonomy will not be able to develop at its best without a strong European perspective and without the ability and personal and collective responsibility to make the entire regional territory increasingly a territory of innovation, experimentation and coexistence between different linguistic groups and cultural traditions. »

«European integration today is synonymous with active citizenship – the regional councilor recalled Angelo Gennaccaro – with this project, young people from our region meet their peers from other European countries and create bonds in the center of Europe that I hope they will carry with them for life. A life as European citizens. One hundred years ago we emerged from a tragic conflict that pitted us against each other. Today, however, we can rejoice in an integration process that has been going on for over seventy springs, thanks to the common commitment of millions of Europeans. By working together we are stronger. Together we are better.”
