“He worked very well from day one. Genoa’s strength is the group and we understood his message very well.”
What has changed compared to two years ago?
“For me they were two very important years. I had lost continuity and confidence in Germany without playing, now I’m fine and I want to continue to improve. Both the team and I did well, we have quality and we can do well next year too” .
A moment of the season that you want to remember?
“The save on Djuric was important. We’ve had many good matches, perhaps the 4-1 victory in Rome against Lazio was beautiful. I’m happy.”
How important were the fans this season?
“Both at home and away the fans are always important. At Marassi the opponents feel the pressure of our warm support.”
Starting from the bottom: do you train to play with your feet?
“I try to do the best I can, we try various solutions such as starting from the bottom. We want to play good football.”
Will he stay at Genoa next year?
“I feel great here, that’s what I can say.”
