After the success of the first edition last September, Terni Comics, the gaming, comics and nerd culture fair, will return to the Pala Terni on 7 and 8 September 2024. This year’s edition is organized by Visione Umbra srl, in collaboration with the local associations Nel Grimorio and Geek Out, and promises to exceed all expectations with a line up of artists, guests and creators of national and international fame, united to a rich program of events.
On May 6th, the official poster of the event by the artist Federico Mele, renowned illustrator, author and teacher at the Roman School of Comics, was announced on the social profiles of the fair. In 2021 he exhibited his first solo show of watercolor illustrations at the Cart Gallery in Rome and in 2022 he conquered the international public with his first graphic novel “The Fall of Macbeth”, a dark fantasy inspired by the famous Shakespearean tragedy. He recently began a collaboration with the prestigious American publishing house Image Comics, curating the covers of Spawn, Scorched, King Spawn and Gunslinger.
For Terni Comics, Mele reinterpreted one of the most iconic symbols of the city of Terni in a nerdy way: the Hydraulic Press located in front of the train station. A big news for 2024 will concern fair tickets. The organizers have decided to launch a special Early Bird presale to allow fans to access the event at a reduced price. The presale, online starting from May 9th, also includes a premium ticket: the VIP Pass, to experience Terni Comics in an exclusive way. Both Early Bird tickets and VIP Passes will be available in limited quantities.
