From 11 to 19 May the National Office for ecclesiastical cultural heritage and religious buildings of the CEI is proposing the Days for the valorisation of ecclesiastical cultural heritage: an opportunity to get to know territories, communities, churches and buildings, museums and itineraries of journey inspired by religious reasons.
Varese also welcomed this promotion and valorisation initiative with extraordinary openings and guided visits to places of worship and other sites that are not always open to visitors, thanks to the presence of volunteers who will accompany the participants.
Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May it will be up to modern churches.

Of the Baptistery of S. Giovanni of the square of the same name in the city centre, traces of a settlement from the early Iron Age (9th-10th century BC) have been found.
