(ASI-UNWEB)Perugia – Sovereign People’s Democracy, a new political force represented at a national level by Marco Rizzo and Francesco Toscano, has been admitted to the upcoming European elections on 8 and 9 June in the Central Italian constituency involving the regions of Umbria, Marche , Tuscany and Lazio.
“It is a remarkable result considering the media blackout of Sovereign People’s Democracy and the high number of signatures that we were forced to collect in order to be admitted (over 15 thousand in the central constituency alone and 60 thousand throughout the national territory). Even though the collection was tiring, it allowed us to make our political project known, obtaining significant feedback from the people we met during the collection, who said they were exhausted from national and European politics, which have been continually abused for too long. ” declares Giuseppe Gasparri, DSP Umbria Regional Coordinator. “The objective of the electoral campaign that awaits us is to continue to make known the political project of People’s Sovereign Democracy which is based, first of all, and in a very summary way, on the need to put an end to the theaters of war and that the Italian people regain awareness of their political, economic, health and social sovereignty, restoring to the family and small and medium-sized businesses that centrality on which our culture and our economic strength are based” reports Beatrice Spitoni, the only one from the Umbrian territory to be present in the list of candidates for the Constituency.
