Fatal accident in Parabiago in the late morning of Thursday 9 May, when shortly after 11am, for reasons still under investigation, a lorry collided with a van in Viale Lombardia. L’The impact left no escape for the 42-year-old behind the wheel of the van, who died instantly. The man was pulled from the wreckage by Legnano Fire Brigade.
The Regional Emergency Emergency Agency sent to the scene two ambulances, ambulance and air ambulance in code red to help the injured: the passenger of the van suffered a head injury and abdominal trauma and was taken under code red to the Niguarda Hospital in Milan; the driver of the truck, however, was taken under yellow code to the emergency room of the Varese hospital with trauma to the pelvis and leg.
She was in the accident a third car was also involved, fortunately without serious consequences: the man behind the wheel of the car did not need to be taken to hospital. The Legnano Fire Brigade was on site, participating in the rescue operations by extracting the injured from the vehicles, and the Local Police of Busto Garolfo and Local Police of Parabiagonow called to reconstruct the dynamics from the facts.
