He’ll be there a large Lucanian delegation at the national assembly of the Third Sector Association Network Epli – Ente Pro Loco Italiane Aps in the splendid city of Caserta home of the Royal Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, scheduled Saturday 11 May 2024 at the provincial Auditorium thanks to the organizational work of Ente Pro Loco Campania.
This was made known by the regional President of the Ente Pro Loco Basilicata Aps Rocco Franciosa who underlines:
“with satisfaction and pride we will participate in theannual national assembly to present the balance of the Lucanian body’s activities which was recognized with a resolution voted unanimously by the Regional Council of Basilicata in law 7 of 2008 “Regional Tourist System” and registered in the regional register of Pro Loco with the role of coordination, assistance and representation of the numerous Lucanian Pro Loco affiliates of ours who have freely chosen a new way of doing Pro Loco.
AND we will also present the important collaborations started with numerous local authorities among which:
- the Io Potentino Magazzini Sociali Association of Potenza,
- the Green Events association,
- the Matera Philatelic Numismatic Club “Paladino Raffaele” of Matera,
- the Lucane Avventure association of Satriano,
- the Alba association of Marsicovetere,
- the Officina Mediterranea association of Avigliano,
- the OECD Magna Grecia association of Metaponto,
- the Venosa Città della Cultura association,
- the Terranovart association of Terranova di Pollino,
- the Al Parco di Satriano association thanks to the precious support of our Third Sector Association Network, Pro Loco Italiane Aps.
For the occasion we will present the collaboration started in Lucania with the Clinica dei Paese which will represent, after the Realverso Lucanum – Metaverso della Sostenicità project, a further activity that will involve the entire Italian territory”.
The Lucanian delegation of Ente Pro Loco Basilicata Aps will be led by:
- by the President Rocco Franciosa of the Pro Loco Barile,
- by the vice-president Maria Teresa Romeo of the Pro Loco Pisticci,
- by the secretary Gaetano Vitale of the Pro Loco Lavello,
- by the regional councilors Giovanni Moreno of the Pro Loco Laurenzana, Pietro Marino of the Pro Loco Satriano of Lucania and Franco Tornese of the Pro Loco Marconia, together with Presidents and managers of various Pro Locos from the whole region with a representation of young volunteer operators of the Digital Civil Service of Promozione Italia Aps.
The day of the meeting was opened by a very important debate entitled: “New times for localism in the beautiful country. The pro loco: custodians of stories and promoters of ideas” with the presence:
- of the President of the Province of Caserta Giorgio Magliocca, Carlo Marino Mayor of Caserta,
- President of Anci Campania, Vincenzo Luciano,
- Uncem National Vice President, Giuseppe Sommese,
- Councilor of the Campania Region,
- the Councilor for Tourism of the Campania Region Felice Casucci,
- Silvia Losco Director of the Universal Civil Service Department,
- Elena Pera President CSV Assovoce Caserta,
- Daniele Antoniozzi Councilor CEV European Volunteer Center in Brussels.
To close the debate, the Honorable Gerolamo Cangiano and the EPLI National President Pasquale Ciurleo will speak.
In the afternoon until the evening all the Presidents of the Pro Loco, as delegates, they will discuss the future of the Italian pro loco system, laying the foundations for improving their actions in the territories.
