Almost 151 thousand accesses in the first six months of activity (150,799), from November 1st to May 5th, for Assistance and Urgency Centers (CAU). Since it exceeds altitude 162 thousand if they are also considered Ferrara city and province, the first to start on an experimental basis. These are clinics for the management of low-complexity emergencies, continuing to keep emergencies under the responsibility of the emergency rooms.

There are currently 35 operational centers in Emilia-Romagna. Four in the province of Rimini: Cattolica (from 18 December 5920 accesses)Santarcangelo (from 15 January 5904 accesses)Novafeltria (801 hits since January 29) and Rimini (412 accesses since April 29th). The one in Bellaria Igea Marina will open on May 20th.

The Region’s monitoring highlights that over 83% of people find assistance and care directly within the structure (on average 8 out of 10 patients), while the most frequent pathologies (53%) related to access are problems orthopedic, gastrointestinal and minor ailments. THE waiting time they are on average 45 minuteswith accesses mainly in day time (82%): on average there are some 19 per day in the morning (from 8am to 2pm) e 4pm in the afternoon (from 2pm to 8pm), however, they vary from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 32 daily accesses in night time (from 8pm to 8am). In the 68% of cases those who turn to the CAU are people between 18 and 64 years old. 464 doctors (205 women and 259 men) currently employed in the structures, of which over 60% are under 35 years old And 53% are specializing.

The Region also launched a satisfaction questionnaire. From the 3,080 compiled it emerges that 84.3% of citizens currency”positively” or “very positively” the service received, and for the84.8% The waiting time was “adequate” or “optimal”.
