PESARO – Healthcare, the ax of closures. This is what the candidate for mayor of Pesaro proposed Andrea Biancani in his visit to the artisans of the CNA board of Pesaro.
«Do you want a preview? Immediately after the elections the risk is that several departments at the San Salvatore Hospital may close: the first fear will be that of Paediatrics. This is the scientific operation of dismantling public health in Pesaro by the Region and the precise desire not to approve the corporate act before the elections”.
Then he added: «Although I am in favor of the construction of the new hospital, I see the well-founded risk that, in light of the reduction in assigned resources and the chronic shortage of personnel, the absurd prospect of opening a structure with fewer departments and specializations compared to ‘current. All this in the face of a hospital designed for 600 beds which, according to forecasts, would have allowed for a rationalization of expenses, resources and personnel”.
During his visit to the provincial headquarters of the Biancani association he then touched on the issues dear to entrepreneurs; first of all the infrastructure.
«We will work to complete the open construction sites in particular relating to the works of compensation related to the third lane of the A/14, cultural spaces, schools, sports facilities, social housing and public areas. It won’t be easy because in the meantime the cost of raw materials has skyrocketed and therefore additional resources will have to be found, but we absolutely cannot waste the many public financing arrived in this city like never before in recent history.”
Responding to the craftsmen’s questions regarding the connections, he defined the creation of the various missing lots for the completion of the Fano-Grosseto road as “science fiction” and from a “dream book”, which today, with the changes made, would require over 1 billion euros to be completed. «For this reason, in addition to finding more realistic solutions for the Fano-Grosseto, we are also working on creating a connection between Cagli and Gubbio – he stated – achievable with limited costs and times which would allow us to connect to Umbria, and beyond, much faster. Instead I see that new routes continue to be invented when there have been projects that have been ready for years and should be put into action immediately.”
Other thorny issues to which it will be necessary to find solutions, according to Biancani, will be that of waste «if alternative solutions to the closure of Ca’ Asprete and the now obsolete and unfortunate Riceci hypothesis are not found, we will have to take the waste out of the region with the risk that the Tari may increase well over 4% in the coming years! We can no longer put off the issue of waste management and disposal and continue to move the ball forward. A radically different relationship is needed in the relationship with multiservices with a more direct and incisive control role on the part of the public who no longer has to suffer choices but make them.”
«Even in the management of water resources, it will be necessary to find solutions as soon as possible that allow the creation of new basins and the cleaning of existing ones».
Finally, the new urban planning law approved by the Region, “due to the way it was clumsily formulated, risks paralyzing any intervention by the Municipalities for the next 20 years”
In the next few days the CNA artisans will meet the center-right candidate for mayor, Marco Lanzi.
