The first public challenge between the five candidates for mayor of the municipality of Pavia (Anselmetti, Cantoni, Cattaneo, Lissia and Signorelli) takes place this evening (8.30 pm) at Battellieri Colombo, in Lungoticino Sforza 40. For some years – thanks also to the work of the associations linked to the river – we returned to talking about Ticino, the conditions of the river, the use of the banks, navigation, the valorisation of the monuments and what remains. «There are many open problems – explains Guido Corsato, president of the Battellieri Colombo association – and, honestly, in recent years we have not had many answers. For this reason, we ask in advance what are the issues on which the five mayoral candidates feel they can commit publicly. We are happy with the availability they have given us, we are happy to wait for them.”
The title of the meeting “Question Time” means that candidates will be given a limited time – a maximum of 2 and a half minutes – for each answer.
