CERVETERI – The Premio Strega stage achieves a great success. Crowded square and great participation. A real “emotion” as underlined by the deputy mayor and councilor for cultural policies, Federica Battafarano. «The presence of the many nationally renowned authors in Cerveteri in the Strega Prize stage – she said – was a privilege. It allowed us not only to get to know writers who we certainly don’t meet every day, but also to debate important and highly topical topics, social issues that are often difficult to deal with and which every time also create divergences in public opinion” .
«Being able to do it together with authors who are marking this particular period on a narrative level – he continued – it is no coincidence that all the members of the dozen finalist authors of the Premio Strega, the most important Italian literary recognition, were present. It was a cultural moment of extraordinary depth, which we hope can be repeated in future years too.” Success also for the first Etruscan literary festival which brought to the city further important authors in the Italian literary fabric at a national level.
