For their part, the Administrator Teresa Gullà and the Director Mario Davide Nicotera, the Pegaso manager Dr. Francesca Barberio, the coordinator of the GOL project of the Dr. Luca Rinaldi of Target Education, expressed great enthusiasm for this collaboration: “It is an honor to work alongside a national and community union like CONF.IAL, to carry out these projects. Our joint commitment will allow us to offer cutting-edge and high-quality training courses, designed to effectively respond to the needs of the local job market.”
The signing of the protocol took place in the presence of representatives of the Union, with the General Secretary Di Iacovo and the Administrator of the training center, Gulla, as well as a large presence of young people, highlighting the strong interest and support of the student and local community in these initiatives. The activities under the protocol will begin in the coming months, and are expected to have a significant positive impact on participants’ ability to access skilled employment opportunities and advance their careers, both in the public and private sectors.
Furthermore, master classes and information activities will be activated for grassroots trade union executives and managers and for the political/union management of the organisations.
During the meeting, which was well attended by young people and students, the general secretary of CONF.IAL, Benedetto Di Iacovo, announced the opening of a provincial headquarters of the Organization in Crotone, equipped with services of: CAF, Patronato, Joint Fund Interprofessional, Tenants Union, Consumers’ Association, Volunteer Association called Amiamoli for Immigrants and other services to citizens, young people and pensioners, including any type of permit for foreigners residing in Italy.
Di iacovo pointed out with a hint of pride that the provincial organization will be led by a management group made up of professionally trained women and men with strong social sensitivity.
