URBINO – We move to Urbino for the seventh stage of Dalla Vigna alla Tavola with ‘Gioachino Rossini Opera Food’, an initiative financed by the Marche Region – Department of Agriculture.
Rossini grand gourmet will be celebrated at the Ponente restaurant immersed in the ducal landscape, located on the ground floor of Aura Relais (via Fontespino, 11 – Urbino). Chef Danilo Mariotti’s cuisine starts from the roots of local tradition to arrive at daring dishes prepared with wisdom, creativity and audacity. The menu includes: welcome entreée; asparagus and parmesan appetizers; Zelmira-style artichoke. First course Maccheroni 12/26/1866, followed by Turnedos Rossini. It ends with a pre-dessert the Barbajata and a dessert Il Guglielmo Tell. Paired with the Futurae Pas Dose’ Metodo Classico Millesimato, Azienda Agricola Podere Vittoria, the Castjio Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Doc Classico, Azienda Agricola Casaleta, the Silver 31 Giorni Sangiovese e Montepulciano Bio, Azienda Agricola Giordano Galiardi (Price 80 euros).
The gastronomic tour continues in the cellars and cultural places: Collina delle Fate (Fossombrone) – 23 May; Crespaia (Fano) – 26 May; Mariotti (Colli al Metauro) – 6 June; Di Sante (Fano) – 21 June. The other 4 meetings will be held in some historical and cultural places in the province of Pesaro and Urbino.
Until the end of June, 15 events to discover the traditional Marche in the province of Pesaro and Urbino through the authentic and genuine flavors of local specialties, to the tune of Rossini grand gourmet, accompanied by producers, chefs, innkeepers, winemakers and brewers.
