ISTIA D’OMBRONE – A night of theft and damage just spent in Istia d’Ombrone, a hamlet of Grosseto.
Last night around 8.30pm someone stole a car in Grosseto, as already happened a few weeks ago from the underground car park in Piazza Nassirjia. In this case the thieves, after traveling along the road to Istia d’Ombrone, crashed into two cars parked in via San Sebastiano.
It’s not clear what happened: drunk people who lost control? A dangerous “game” like crash tests? However, those responsible fled, although there are some elements that would suggest they were minors.
The surveillance cameras of a wine shop have in fact filmed four kids kicking the cigarette machine and taking away a vase of flowers. Obviously they might not be connected to the theft of the car, the boys’ faces would still be clearly visible.
The thefts of cars, which are stolen and abandoned (when all goes well) in other areas of the city, have intensified in recent weeks. Also last Saturday a stolen car was found parked on a city street.
