In the heart of the picturesque region of Brittany, accompanied by professors Rossella Lombardo and Nadia Casertano, a group of Erasmus students from the IC Cavour Mazzini of Marsala, directed by the rector Annalisa Giacalone, embarked on an exciting adventure in the evocative setting of Guerlédan. The trip, which has just concluded, was not only an opportunity to explore the artistic and landscape beauties of the area, but also an experience of personal growth and cultural enrichment, all within the Erasmus project “Bridging Cultures”.
Students had the opportunity to overcome language and cultural barriers, learn from each other, and create meaningful connections that will last.
From hiking along the scenic trails surrounding Lake Guerlédan, to visiting the picturesque surrounding villages and towns (Dinan, Saint Malo) every day was a unique adventure.
Through the discovery of a new culture, the exploration of breathtaking landscapes and the interaction with Breton partners, students have broadened their horizons and developed greater intercultural awareness, developing their linguistic and socio-relational skills.
The power of cultural sharing and open-mindedness continues to transform the lives of students at the Cavour Mazzini Institute, helping to create a world that is increasingly interconnected and open to intercultural dialogue.
