This wonderful adventure that has been there is coming to an end 48^ theater season organized by Blue Sky cabaret.
Saturday 04 May at 8.00 pm the “Angela Barbaro” company, Francesca Amendolea di Archi association, brought the comedy “Nisciu pacciu u parrucu” to the stage of the San Bruno Theatre.
The theater was overflowing with audiences and enthusiasm and everything foreshadowed a wonderful evening and in fact that’s what happened. Cosimo and Caterina, key figures and presenters of the Blu Sky cabaret, first wanted to remember the memory of Angela Barbaro, pillar of the Francesca Amendolea association who passed away prematurely, remembering how difficult it is for those who pass through these situations, especially when we talk about key points of the companies as in the case of the Blu Sky cabaret with Mimmo and Angela, move forward.
After this very important memory, the two presenters nicknamed by Santo Palumbo and now known to the public as generic Bisio and Hunziker, left room for Don Calogero, played by a phenomenal Gaetano Cileaa priest from a small Calabrian village and the whole gang of fellow villagers who did everything they could to cheer up the two hours of show which was truly appreciated by a passionate audience who laughed and applauded continuously.
A resounding success also thanks to the verve of Demetrio Romeo who brilliantly interpreted Modestino the sacristan and obviously assisted by his historical sidekick on stage, namely Licia Ruffo, iconic in the interpretation of the perpetual. The two obviously managed to put the country’s scoundrels in check and re-establish the correct order of things, proving, if any were needed, that money and noble or institutional titles are not always an indication of education and seriousness.
It was a resounding success thanks to the masterful direction of Licia Ruffo and of all the technicians who worked hard for the success of the show and the brilliant interpretation of all the actors who performed on stage. Finally, applause to the professionalism of the entire Company “Angela Barbaro” association Francesca Amendolea and to its President Andrea Saraceno for the professionalism and competence they have expressed.
We always thank the Raffa family for their presence in the theater and on the jury which makes the memory of Mimmo and Angela important.
We have almost reached the end, telling you what this long and particular journey has been but there is still one step of laughter and jokes missing before bringing the curtain down on this wonderful 48th season and for this reason I remember that the event will end with the organizers of the Blu Sky cabaret performing on the day 25 And 26 May 2024 at 8.00 pm with “Lu figghiu masculu”. Don’t miss it because it will be the closing comedy of the season.
