MANTUA The defeat against Cesena means that Mantova will return to the field as early as next weekend for the second day of the Super Cup. The red and whites are expected in Castellammare di Stabia, where they will face Juve Stabia, winners of group C. The match was scheduled for Sunday, but will be brought forward to Saturday at the request of the people from Campania due to the patron saint’s day. It will be played at 6pm. Mantova will resume training tomorrow and will leave on Friday for Castellammare. The defeat against Cesena obviously reduced Acm’s chances of winning the Super Cup. To cultivate some hope, Mantua must beat Juve Stabia and hope that the Campania team do the same against Cesena in the third match. In that case the teams would all close on 3 points and the classification would be determined in this order: goal difference; the highest number of goals scored; the highest number of goals scored away from home; and, lastly, the draw.
