Twenty-two years old and a passion for the guitar born during middle school. Andrea Niffoi is the protagonist of the appointment on Wednesday at 7pm in Sala Sassu for the “I Wednesdays of the Conservatory” exhibition. Entrance is free and free.
The guitarist from Orani, a student of the “Canepa” of Sassari, will perform the songs of the Spanish Agustín Barrios Mangoré Prelude op. 5 no. 1, Estudio en Sol menor, Preludio en C menor, Preludio en A menor. They will then be proposed by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco Orange Blossoms (op. 87a), Church Aria (Greeting Cards op. 170 n. 43) And Tonadilla (Greeting Cards 170 n. 5). The concert will end with Hommage to Chopin by Polish composer Alexandre Tasman.
The Wednesday festival, which is recording a record average of spectators, alternates the presence of musicians already established at an international level with concerts by teachers and students of the Sassari Conservatory. In addition to the Wednesday appointments, in the summer period, there will be the “Contemporary Notturni”, events in collaboration with the “Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina” Conservatory of Cagliari, which enhance not only the students’ performance ability but also their compositional production in contemporary music .
