An entire resuscitation department at Santissima Trinità, previously used for Covid cases, is now unused. With healthcare workers forced to stand idle for hours.
Thus Fials requests its closure, with a view to optimizing the use of healthcare personnel in the Cagliari hospital.
“We note the presence, to date, of two resuscitations at the Santissima Trinità, of which the first is active and operational in all the planned institutional activities while the second often appears to have no patients, other than post-operative ones who could still be welcomed by the equivalent department” says Giampaolo Cugliara, provincial secretary of the trade union organisation.
“This is why we are asking for the closure of resuscitation 2, an application in line with the application guidelines of current legislation and with the modern vision of staff optimization. Which would guarantee the maintenance of an adequate care performance and would protect all the staff working in the Cagliari ASL from a psychophysical point of view. And it would allow, albeit partially, to fill some of the healthcare gaps.”
