In the 5th San Marino doesn’t take advantage of Celli’s triple, while in the 6th the 4-2 point comes thanks to Batista’s double which pushes home Ferrini, first on base. Meanwhile, the San Marino pitchers concede little or nothing. De Leon closes his 4 innings in crescendo, Kourtis is perfect in the 5th and for Pedrol there are the last two innings. In the 6th Grosseto tries to make up for it with hits from Barcelan and Garcia, but no points arrive. In the 7th Pedrol does not allow any arrivals on base, closing with two Ks on Franceschelli and Vaglio. San Marino wins the third match 4-2.
