This May 5th, Villanova Monferrato will be the scene of “Zampettando nel Monferrato”, an exciting event dedicated to four-legged friends and their owners. Organized by the volunteers of the Cascine Rossi and Baulandia Refuge in collaboration with the G. Demichelis Library, the event promises a day full of activities full of fun and sharing.
The day will begin at 3pm with registration, followed by the walk which will start at 4pm. During the journey, there will be a special performance led by Giulia Claudia Guazzotti, dog instructor of the New Moon dog team – Dog Unit for the Search for Lost Animals. It will be an excellent opportunity to see trained dogs at work in searching for lost animals.
Participants will also be able to admire the artistic works of the children of the “D. Mombelli” and the photos participating in the photographic exhibition “A dog’s life”. Anyone wishing to participate in the exhibition can still send a photograph representing a moment in their dog’s daily life.
At the end of the walk, there will be a draw and awards ceremony for the participants in the walk and the exhibitions. Furthermore, all participants will receive nice gadgets. The proceeds from the event will be donated to the National League for the Defense of Dogs section of Casale Monferrato APS, to support the guests of the Cascine Rossi Refuge.
