In the other group, this afternoon, Valorugby Emilia and Hbs Colorno will face each other at Mirabello in Reggio Emilia (kick-off at 5pm). The match will be directed by Gianluca Gnecchi from Brescia, who will have as his assistants Federico Vedovelli from Sondrio and Filippo Bertelli from Brescia with Matteo Liperini from Livorno in charge of the TMO.

The fourth and fifth teams in the regular season standings will face each other. In the championship, Colorno defeated Mirabello 19-15, while in the return leg Valorugby Emilia returned the favor by violating Maini 38-26.

Last Saturday, Hbs Colorno was beaten 33-10 by Viadana in game 1 in a match where Umberto Casellato’s men actually never entered the game.

At home in defeat, Colorno will end their season with a result that certainly wasn’t in the budget of a club that started out with ambitions of the championship.

The match valid for game 2 of group 2, the all-Venetian one which also includes Femi Cz Rovigo, will be directed by Filippo Russo from Treviso who will have Clara Munarini from Parma and Alex Frasson from Treviso with Giuseppe Vivarini from Padua in charge of the TMO.

The obligatory favorite of the Venetian derby is Petrarca Padova, indicated by everyone as the favorite to win the scudetto. But the tuttineri will have to deal with a Mogliano who, after having come close to scoring at the Battaglini, will try to achieve the feat at the Geremia.
