Accompanied by teachers Sheryl Covolo and Eleonora Eugenia Elia, the students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of the Regional Legislative Assembly, discovering its history and its functioning. The visit was enriched by a simulation of parliamentary work, during which the young regional councilors discussed a bill regarding the installation of food dispensers, including fresh food, and water dispensers within schools.
The debate was lively and participatory, with students expressing their opinions and arguments with great enthusiasm and interest. At the end of the discussion, a clear consensus emerged in favor of the project, with a clear majority of students voting in favor of the bill.
This experience offered students a unique opportunity to closely understand the legislative process and to express their opinions on issues of public interest. The visit to the Valle Consiglio certainly contributed to enriching the students’ educational path, allowing them to acquire a greater awareness of the role and responsibilities of democratic institutions in society.
