We are finally proceeding with the redevelopment of the final stretch of Via del Giardino in Ibla. An intervention that will improve both the aesthetic appearance and the safety of the area. The decision taken was to pave the road, making it uniform with the nearby Piazza Giovan Battista Hoggi.
AN IMPORTANT INTERVENTION
The councilor for the historic center, Giovanni Gurrieri, underlines the importance of this redevelopment and explains that the works will be carried out from 6 to 10 May, with the closure of the intersection between via del Giardino and via Tenente la Rocca. Despite the closure of the intersection, local public transport will be guaranteed.
The decision to start work before the summer is justified by the desire to conclude it before the tourist season reaches its peak, ensuring a better experience for both residents and visitors. Furthermore, the opportunity to start the redevelopment of Piazza Marini in September, once the work on the school building has been completed, promises further improvements for the area.
