At the “San Carlo” a conference on advance treatment orders

Law 219 of 2017 on “rules regarding informed consent and advance treatment orders” will be at the center of the conference promoted by the People association. The meeting will be held on Friday 24 May, from 3pm to 8pm, at the “San Carlo” theater in Foligno. At the conference, entitled “To choose consciously today: reflections on advance directives for health treatments”, Luigi Napolitano will speak, who will illustrate the contents of the legislation; Mauro Zampolini, who will delve into the topic of communication between doctor and patient; the bishop of Foligno and Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino, Monsignor Domenico Sorrentino, who will illustrate the contribution and thinking of the church; and the municipal manager Sandra Ansuini who will make known the regulation of the Municipality of Foligno on advance treatment provisions (Dat). The conference will end with the theatrical show by the company “L’altro Ordine” of the Umbrian Association against Cancer (Aucc of Perugia), the result of the art therapy workshops offered to patients, entitled “Life has changed but it is not over”.
