Ferrara Two approach bans for the same number of men accused of stalking. Harassment of a female doctor by a former patient of hers in one case, while in the second the person investigated for persecutory acts is theex-partner of the victim. It was the State Police, in recent days, who carried out the precautionary measures issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Ferrara. In particular, the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters notified a fifty-year-old resident in the province of the order that prevents him from approaching the places frequented by the offended person, also providing for the ban on residence in the municipality of Ferrara. The provision follows the investigative activity carried out by the Police and coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office, at the basis of which is the complaint filed by a doctor in relation to a series of harassing and threatening actions that a former patient of hers allegedly carried out towards her starting from the middle of last year, holding her responsible for having disclosed to third parties information regarding your health status. The subsequent investigations and the testimonies collected have highlighted a serious circumstantial framework towards the fifty-year-old, given the repeated persecutory and obsessive conduct that the man allegedly carried out, developing over time a feeling of hostility and vindictiveness towards the woman and generating in this last one severe state of anxiety and fear, as well as a well-founded fear for one’s own safety.
The same fate, with the application of the electronic bracelet, concerns a forty-year-old resident in Ferrara, investigated for stalking towards his ex-partner. From the beginning of 2023, the man allegedly engaged in repeated harassing behavior (serious threats and abusive phrases) towards the woman, not accepting the end of their relationship. The man was also responsible for two episodes of physical violence. On one occasion, in the presence of their youngest son, he allegedly attacked his ex-partner with pushes and kicks, so much so that he caused abrasions on her face and bruises on her legs. A few months later, he allegedly kicked her in the ass direction of the sternum, but the woman managed to avoid the blow. For this reason, the forty-year-old was ordered not only not to approach the places frequented by the victim, but also to maintain a distance of no less than 500 meters and not to communicate with the ex-partner.
