As expected, ordinances allowing people to go back to swimming have also been issued for all the other bathing areas of Sanremo. In fact, after the first revocation in the city center, all the others have now arrived.
With the improvement of the weather situation for next weekend, when temperatures are also expected to rise, we are moving towards a normalization of the swimming situation in Sanremo where, since last December, bathing has been prohibited on the entire coast between Bussana and the bay of Capo Pino, due to the intervention on the collector by Rivieracqua which stopped the plant, with the consequent activation of discharges into the sea.
The works were completed at the end of March and, since April 12th, the plants have all returned to operation with the wastewater arriving at the plant being conveyed over a kilometer from the coastline as early as the 28th, thus ensuring adequate protection of the quality of the bathing waters. Precisely for this reason, checks and monitoring of the quality of the sea by Arpal began.
The favorable outcome for all the expected parameters of the sampling analyzes of the city of flowers confirms the effectiveness of the purifier. Precisely for this reason the mayor of Sanremo revoked the December ordinances.
