Citizens residing in Latina interested in replacing the polling station presidents appointed by the Court of Appeal and unable to carry out the task during the elections of the members of the European Parliament which will be held on 8 and 9 June 2024, are invited to communicate your availability.
The communication of availability must be made using the appropriate attached form.
This communication of availability, together with a copy of the declarant’s identity document, must be received by 12.00 on 07/06/2024, to the Mayor’s Secretariat exclusively in the following ways:
When communicating their availability, interested parties must declare, under their own personal responsibility, that they are registered in the Register of polling station presidents or that they have the requirements to cover the role of polling station president (being an Italian citizen/adult; being registered in the voter lists; have obtained a qualification not lower than a secondary school diploma [diploma di scuola media superiore]).
All those who will be called to replace the President of the Polling Station must have an email address available (receivable on a smartphone or other IT tool such as tablets, laptops, PCs equipped with a data network and which they have access to) in order to speed up all communications between the municipal electoral office and the sections.
Please remember that are excluded from the functions of president of the polling station as provided for by the art. 23 of Presidential Decree 570/60 and art.38 of Presidential Decree 361/57:
- Those who are over 70 years of age on the election date
- Employees of the Ministries of the Interior, of Posts and Telecommunications and of Transport;
- Members of the Armed Forces on duty;
- Provincial doctors, officers and led doctors;
- Municipal secretaries and municipal employees, assigned or assigned to serve at municipal electoral offices.
- The candidates in the elections for which voting is taking place.
