The patrol of the mobile radio unit orders a passing small car to stop, but the driver does not stop and momentarily escapes the control of the soldiers who, only through quick reflexes, manage to dodge the vehicle launched at high speed. This is what happened a few days ago in the Torrione area. The man, a 22-year-old local, was subsequently tracked down and recognized by the operating military, who subjected him to an immediate search. Inside the house, which was searched, hidden in a piece of furniture, almost 38 grams of hashish and a precision scale emerged. For this reason, the 22-year-old was arrested in flagrante delicto on charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing. Furthermore, due to his previous behavior while driving the vehicle, the young man will also have to answer for resisting a public official and driving without a license since he never obtained it. The prosecutor on duty at the public prosecutor’s office in L’Aquila was immediately informed of the arrest, who ordered him to be placed under house arrest. The arrest was subsequently validated by the investigating judge of the L’Aquila court. In the meantime, the suspect has been released while awaiting his trial.
