The alarm was raised from a restaurant in Piazza Borsellino by the frightened mother who told 112 that her little son had left the restaurant in a moment of distraction for her and her husband.
The carabinieri, having received the description of the child, started the search by concentrating all the car radios, motorbike patrols and colleagues from the mounted department in the area until a phone call came to 112 reporting the presence of a child who he was walking between via Plebiscito and via Garibaldi.
A patrol immediately tracked down the little boy and notified his parents, who after so much fear were able to hug their son again. Before greeting the Carabinieri, the child wanted a photo taken of him with them. The family members warmly thanked the military personnel.
