The month of May is dedicated to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. In the month of May we have always gathered in our churches, in the towns and along the streets to recite the Rosary. There are numerous votive cells dedicated to the Madonna found in our territory. Among the best cared for, that of Bulgarnò (pictured above) located on the corner between via Bulgarnò II and the provincial road Ruffio.
Among the many proposals for the month of May, that ofGambettola, Bulgaria and Bulgarnò parish unit which is scheduled for 8pm the recitation of the Rosary at the Baiardi family (the same ones who look after the cell and host it on their property) near the intersection of the two streets. Following will be the celebration of the Mass and then the procession to the cell Mariana, inaugurated in 1954, the Marian year proclaimed by Pope Pius XIIand recently refurbished.
On the month dedicated to Mary, the paper edition on newsstands from tomorrow features on the front page a editorial Of Franco Gàbici, expert in local history and traditions, who retraces the years in which, as children, we went to the sanctuary of Santa Maria in Porto in Ravenna to recite the Rosary. The text then turns to page 13.
