On stage, Calabrian artists celebrate Labor Day. «A festival that started from the bottom»

Published on: 01/05/2024 – 13:52

The Taranto Archaeological Park hosts the May Day concert, organized by the artistic directors, Roy Paci, Diodato and Michele Riondino. Also on stage are two Calabrian artists, Dario Brunori and Naip. The start is at 2pm, the event is expected to close at 8pm. Before the start of the event, at Courier of Calabria, Roy Paci reveals an unpublished detail relating to a dinner in the company of Brunori and Naip. «Last night we were together, it was great fun. Brunori has a strong Calabrian accent and always makes me laugh when he speaks. A great artist, I believe he is currently among the best Italian singer-songwriters. Then Valerio Lundini joined the dinner, and I’ll let you imagine how it went. An evening worthy of the best comedians.” Regarding the festival, Paci underlines how he “started from the bottom, without funds and with the free collaboration of the artists”. The gloss is on Calabria, a land that has hosted festivals and concerts starring Roy Paci. «Crotone, like Taranto, is beautiful, I hope that this concert and this event on May 1st can give impetus to the organization of similar events.” (fb)
