The “Paname Brumotti Freestyle” returns to a courtroom, this time in Ravenna: the Lugo trapper of Moroccan origins Amin Bajtit, 27 years old, is in fact accused of defamation against Vittorio Brumotti for the video clip shot in Puglia in November 2021 , in which he targeted the Striscia la Notizia correspondent for a report on drug dealing in the San Bernardino neighborhood, in the municipality of San Severo di Foggia. A story that had already led Bajtit, known by the trapper name of “Paname”, to plea bargain for one year and 4 months in the court in Foggia. Yesterday, however, a new trial began in front of the single judge Michele Spina, in which the 27-year-old is once again accused of defamation and threats, in competition with a 24-year-old from Torremaggiore (Foggia) who allegedly uploaded the offending video on the YouTube channel of Paname. The song had reached tens of thousands of views in a couple of days: among the rhymes sung by the trapper, phrases like “Brumotti but, there’s a bounty on your head, the infamous guardsman”, “We are in battle and you know that those who make mistakes pay”, “I was born with the burglary, a bullet costs a euro and your life is worth a shit…, I have a couple of friends who are aggressive, they are harmful, if you go back to San Severo you wake up among the olive trees”. Bajtit is defended by the lawyer Nicola Casadio, while the 24-year-old from Foggia is protected by the lawyer Aurelio Iarocci. For his part, Brumotti seems intent on going to the end with this second trial too and has joined the civil action with the lawyer Salvatore Pino of the Milan Bar. It remains to be seen, however, whether the trial will continue: in the next hearing the defense could in fact ask the judge to pronounce a sentence of “no place to proceed” for the legal principle of “ne bis in idem”, according to which one cannot be judged twice for the same action.
