In Campania, the regional council confirmed the presidents and commissioners of four regional parks with a series of documents published today in Burc (Official Bulletin of the Campania Region).

Francesco Iovino will remain at the helm of the Partenio Regional Park Authority, one of the largest in the region, which extends over four provinces. Iovino was appointed president for a further 5-year term.

Costantino Caturano was confirmed as president of the Taburno Camposauro Regional Park, located in the province of Benevento, where he has been in office since 2018. He too was reconfirmed for another 5-year mandate.

Tristano dello Ioio was renewed in his appointment as extraordinary commissioner of the Monti Lattari Regional Park “until the appointment of the new president and, in any case, no later than 30 June 2024”. Ioio was already president and was the outgoing commissioner of the Lattari Mountains Regional Park, which embraces the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast in the provinces of Naples and Salerno.

Finally, the appointment of Antonio Crescenzo as extraordinary commissioner of the Regional Park Authority of the Sarno River Hydrographic Basin was renewed, a protected area that includes the municipalities crossed by the Sarno river in the province of Naples and in the Nocerino-Sarnese countryside in the province of Salerno.
