Giovanna Romano has been confirmed as head of the Siena Autonomous Press Group for the three-year period 2024-2027.
Full support for the president, the new board of directors and the board of auditors was expressed by the members of the association, called to vote on 28 and 29 April at the polling station set up in the registered office in Piazza dell’Abbadia.
“First of all I would like to thank all the members who went to vote – declares Giovanna Romano -, as well as the electoral commission (made up of Duccio Balestracci, Giacomo Luchini and Maura Martellucci) and the councilors who freely and with great dedication to the cause provided their service in these three years. I greet and warmly welcome the new directors, together with whom I am sure we will work for the good of the Stampa Group”.
The attention of the Siena Autonomous Press Group is now turned to the next events: “We will immediately address – says the president Giovanna Romano – the events that will see us protagonists in a few days. On May 24th we will be part of the jury of Cronisti in Classe, the journalism championship involving Siena’s elementary and middle schools, from May 30th to June 1st the new edition of the Siena Journalism Festival awaits us, a national-level event that we organize from 2022 now.”
