PUBLIC TRANSPORT, A SHAMEFUL AFFAIR – Talenti Lucani

The mess is big and the game of shifting the blame to the offices is exposed. The issue of local public transport deserves an urgent and satisfactory clarification, especially regarding the way in which the tender was conceived and the lack of reflection on the effects that the division into five lots would have had, some attractive, some less so, others not at all. Nobody talks about this so that it is due to chance that 3 of these lots were deserted, as had been widely announced by the Consortium that held the service. Now we need to start again from the current situation which also has an initial legal backing. That is, two valid matches and three to be redone. As? The risk is that by taking the meat of the transport services on one side, i.e. the two capitals, we dump on the periphery the exorbitant cost of a service which in recent years has swollen with staff (never mind the how and why, we should go to more or less distant facts that concern many local institutions. Which makes the tender impracticable if we stick to the cost-benefit parameters. It remains to be understood how 150 million were given to a consultant to prepare this beautiful mess! they go on the attack talking about yet another bad impression of the regional government and the unions too for which there is no self-criticism and no reasonable solution. It is still a question of understanding why, despite the decision of the Regional Council to review everything, there is a need go ahead with the races, knowing full well that they would produce this announced flop,
