LUGNANO IN TEVERINA The interactive game-path Orienteering Drama starts again from Lugnano. Each participant will receive a kit with a map to find the 20 hidden lanterns and the 20 stories to listen to.

The only tools needed are smartphones and earphones to navigate.

«With Orienteering Drama Lugnano becomes a widespread and digital theater to be experienced – explain the Ippocampo association, organizer of the event – a different and engaging way to get to know one of the most beautiful villages in Italy».

Equipped with a specially created paper map, Orienteering Drama participants are invited to follow a game-path which in twenty stages crosses the medieval village of Lugnano in Teverina.

You take the map and become travellers, each with their own times and sensitivity, with the choice of roads and the stages dedicated to listening.

Action, orientation and observation are the elements that characterize orienteering, to which are added stories and drama, entrusted to the sounds of voices and sounds in headphones, which can be accessed via a QR code, with the aim of suggesting the user a personalized enjoyment of the town’s cultural heritage.

Each QR code (lantern), opened with the app, reveals a story to listen to: the inspiring subject of the stories is Lugnano in Teverina. The medieval village, the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta and the other churches, then the Civic Museum with the Necropolis of the children of Poggio Gramignano and the part dedicated to the Great War, the church of San Francesco and all the surrounding landscape.

Created with a staff of creative operators-artists, specialized in the languages ​​of theater and music, visual arts and multimedia communication, the path ‘speaks’ a language accessible to all. Designed for individual use, it is also nice to do as a couple or in a small group.

Orienteering Drama is a cultural and experiential tourism project of the Ippocampo association, conceived by Roberto Giannini and Rossella Viti, and created with the contribution of the Umbria region, call for creative enterprises POR FESR 2014-2020 action 3.2.1. for “Support for the development of products and services complementary to the valorisation of identified cultural and natural attractors of the territory”.
